  • What is The French Tearoom experience?
    The French Tearoom is much more than enjoying a delicious pot of tea and delightful treats with your loved ones; it's about you! You deserve to feel like royalty. Our rooms are designed to create a relaxed and charming atmosphere with an air of French sophistication. Beautiful China sets, elegant silverware, fresh flowers, and clean linens adorn each table for your delight. Every member of our attentive staff will take special care of you, and our music will take you to France. Simply put, we are a place where you can escape daily routines and enjoy the finer aspects of life.

  • How many people can your tearoom accommodate?
    Our location includes main floor tearooms as well as three private rooms upstairs (the Pink room, Blue room, and Yellow room). The main floor tea rooms accommodate 2 to 32 guests. Our Pink room is our largest private room and seats 12. The Blue room seats 10. The yellow room can seat up to 8.
  • Is your tearoom wheelchair accessible?
    Unfortunately, we are not wheelchair accessible. A Wheelchair Boxed Tea To Go discount is available. Although we have a ramp to the main floor, our only bathroom is located upstairs and is not wheelchair accessible. For those who have difficulty with stairs, there are only 6 steps leading to the main floor.
  • Is your tearoom able to accommodate special dietary restrictions?
    We can accommodate vegetarian and gluten-free menu requests. However, our kitchen is NOT nut and wheat free. Please inform us of any food allergies during your reservation. We do not accommodate all dietary restrictions, but we strive to keep food safe for people with allergies.
  • Can I bring outside food items?
    Unfortunately, our tearoom does not allow outside catering.
  • Is there a dress code?
    Traditional afternoon tea attire is formal and classy. Some guests wear hats, gloves, and fancy clothes, while other dress in jeans and sweaters. What matters is that you enjoy your time at The French Tearoom. We even offer hats for you to wear during your visit.
  • Is there an age requirement to attend?
    The tearoom is not appropriate for toddlers and preschoolers. Although we have no doubt your toddler is a wonderful child, our tea room is full of breakable items and hot water in every teapot. Therefore, our youngest guests must be over the age of five. Nursing infants are welcome to the tearooms, but strollers should be left in the car. There are no high chairs, car seat slings, or changing table in the tearoom.
